Vaya, Housewares Manufacturer, Chennai, India

UX/UI design and content creation for Vaya’s global e-commerce website. The website’s look and feel needed to convey the brand focus on style, quality and innovation, as well as its environmental consciousness. The company’s innovative products required clear explanations, while their extensive range of styles, finishes and options required a smooth and consistent shopping experience.

Our graphic design and content creation spanned from company profile and customer service information, to detailed product descriptions; culminating in an exciting shopping experience.

Product pages and shopping zone templates were designed for the vast range of variations available for each product, while renderings, videos and animations were created to illustrate the level of innovation characterizing each product.

The design for this online resource for women follows the format of a seasonal magazine. The home page becomes the magazine cover, from which quick links provided immediate access to the newest articles.

The main content categories are organized in a bold navigation bar, which prioritizes them over the contextual menus, extensively used on the inner pages . A seasonal header on the inner pages reconnects them to the periodical concept emphasized in the home page.

ONLINE MARKETPLACE

Laso, Tokyo, Japan

The UX/UI we developed for this Tokyo-based online marketplace features a stylish, young, feminine look, in line with the company’s audience.

On the front page, the extensive content is organized in carousels that allow the visitor to quickly brows and find what they are looking for. The shopping pages are organized in catalog style, which compensates for the inconsistent look of the photography uploaded by the sellers.
